#114 Up Our Sleeve

This art exhibition curated by Brandy Flower and Frosty was originally planned as a one-night event. The idea was to beg all of Dublab's artist friends to decorate blank 12" record sleeves which could then be auctioned off to further finance the lab. The first show in LA at Inshallah was a success -- and that's when things snowballed. The collection, featuring the work of over 200 artists, is now set to go up before audiences in Japan and Belgium. Best of all, tons of DJs, artists and friends will be accompanying the works to Tokyo's Rocket Gallery.

If you're in Japan be sure to check out the show's opening night on November 14th at Rocket Gallery from 6-8PM and the after party at LOOP from Midnight to 3AM. The show will move to Conquest in Kyoto on November 20th and remain there until the 28th.

If you can't make it to see the show don't despair. Mr. Flower says there's a book collecting the show in the works.
